The short version
- You keep ownership of your videos and clips. We use them only to make your edits, and we never use them to train AI.
- Only edit and post videos you own or have permission to use.
- Edits use credits per clip, shown before you start. If an edit fails, or we make fewer clips than you asked for, the credits for what we didn't make come back automatically.
- Paid plans renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from Credits & billing.
- Free plan clips have a watermark and are kept for 30 days. Paid plan clips are kept while you are subscribed.

Who we are and these terms
Blur AI (“Blur AI”, “we”, “us”) runs the Blur AI website and app. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using Blur AI you agree to them. If you use Blur AI for a company or channel team, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data and is part of these Terms, including the cookies we use and the service providers who process data for us (cookies, providers). Optional analytics only run if you allow them in Cookie settings. You can reach us at blur.ai.video@gmail.com. Company details: [Registered company name and postal address].
What Blur AI does
Blur AI edits videos for you. You paste a YouTube link or upload a video file, and our AI watches and reads it, picks the strongest moments and plans the edit: cuts, captions, b-roll, music and pacing. Our renderer then builds the edited video and short clips, which you can review, change with “Edit with AI”, download, or schedule to your connected social accounts.
The AI is Anthropic’s Claude, which we run through Amazon Web Services (AWS). AI makes mistakes: it can misread speech, pick a moment you would not, or add a shot that does not fit. Review every edit and clip before you publish it. You decide what gets posted, and you are responsible for it.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these Terms where you live. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you.
- Give us accurate details, keep your password safe, and tell us at blur.ai.video@gmail.com if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what team members you invite do. The account owner manages seats and billing.
- One free account per person. Creating extra accounts to collect more free credits is not allowed.
Credits and plans
Blur AI runs on credits. Each clip you ask for uses credits: a flat price per clip that depends on the template you pick, not on the length of your video. The app shows the price before you start an edit. Current plans and prices are on our pricing page.
- Plan credits refill every month (on yearly plans too) and do not carry over to the next month.
- Top-up credits can be bought while you have a paid plan. They do not expire while your account is open, and you keep them if your plan ends. We use plan credits first.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and are not refunded when you cancel, except as described below.
- Each clip comes with a number of free changes with Edit with AI, like a new hook, a different b-roll shot or a fixed caption, as shown in the app. Starting a whole edit again uses credits like a new edit.
The Free plan and your first edit
Your first clip is free. The Free plan has no monthly credits. Clips made on the Free plan carry a Blur AI watermark; upgrading to a paid plan removes it from new exports. Do not remove, crop or cover the watermark on Free exports.
Payments, renewals and cancelling
Payments are handled by Whop, our payment provider. When you pay, you also agree to Whop’s terms for the payment, and Whop processes your card details; we never see your full card number.
- Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. We charge the price shown when you subscribed unless we tell you about a change at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal.
- Upgrading applies right away: we charge the difference for the rest of your current period, add the extra credits straight away, and the new price applies from your next renewal. Switching to monthly from yearly, or to a smaller plan, takes effect on your next renewal date.
- Extra seats and extra storage are billed monthly from the day you add them, until you remove them or your plan ends.
- Cancel any time from Credits & billing. You keep your plan and its credits until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account moves to Free.
- If a renewal payment fails, your plan keeps working for 3 days while you update your card. After that your account moves to Free; top-up credits stay.
- Prices are in US dollars. Taxes may be added where the law requires.
Failed edits and refunds
If an edit fails, you get its credits back automatically, and we tell you what went wrong, for example an unreadable file or a video with no audio. You can see every refund in your billing history.
Subscription fees and top-ups are otherwise non-refundable once credits have been used, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. If you were charged by mistake, email blur.ai.video@gmail.com within 14 days and we will put it right.
If you live in the EU or UK, you may have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase. By starting an edit you ask us to begin the service straight away, and you accept that you lose that right for credits you have already used.
Your videos and clips
You keep ownership of the videos you upload or link and of the edits and clips we make from them. You give us a limited licence to store, copy, analyse (including with our AI provider), edit, render and, when you schedule a post, publish that content, only to run Blur AI for you. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies already posted to other platforms by you.
We do not use your videos to train AI models.
You must own the videos you use, or have every right and permission needed to edit and publish them. That includes the people who appear in them, the music and footage in them, and any YouTube video you link: link only your own videos, or videos you have permission to edit.
Acceptable use
Do not use Blur AI to:
- edit or publish videos you do not have the rights to, or infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
- make sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate content, or content that promotes violence, terrorism or self-harm;
- harass, threaten, defame or impersonate anyone, or create misleading deepfakes of real people;
- spam, run scams, or break the rules of the platforms you post to;
- get around credit limits, watermarks or security, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or overload it with automated requests;
- break any law.
We may remove content, stop an edit, or suspend an account that breaks these rules. If you think someone is using Blur AI to infringe your rights, email blur.ai.video@gmail.com with the details.
YouTube and connected social accounts
When you paste a YouTube link, we fetch that video on your behalf to edit it. You can also connect YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and X accounts to show your channel and to post the clips you schedule. Connecting is optional, and you can disconnect any account in Settings at any time.
- Blur AI uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s use of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Posting to TikTok, Instagram (Meta), LinkedIn or X is also subject to that platform’s own terms and community rules, including TikTok’s Terms of Service and Meta’s Terms and Platform Terms. You are responsible for what you post there.
- Those platforms decide whether a post is accepted, shown, monetised or removed. We are not responsible for their decisions or for outages on their side.
Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what data we read from these accounts and how we protect it.
Music, b-roll and other material we add
Edits can include music, b-roll, sound effects, fonts and other material we provide. You may use them as part of the edits and clips you make with Blur AI, including on monetised channels where the app says so. You may not extract them to use on their own or resell them. Check the b-roll in every edit before you publish it, and replace any shot you are not comfortable with; Edit with AI lets you swap shots for free.
How long we keep your clips
- Free plan: projects, source videos and clips are kept for 30 days after they are made, then deleted.
- Paid plans: kept for as long as your subscription is active.
- If a paid plan ends, your account moves to the Free plan and the 30-day period starts on the day the plan ends. Download anything you want to keep before then.
We are not a backup service. Keep your own copies of the videos and clips that matter to you.
Changes to Blur AI
Blur AI is a new product and we improve it often. We may add, change or remove features, templates or integrations. If we remove something you pay for, we will tell you in advance and, where it is fair, offer a pro-rata refund or credits. We aim to keep Blur AI available at all times but cannot promise it will never be interrupted.
Deleting your account and suspension
You can stop using Blur AI and delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account cancels any subscription at the end of the paid period and deletes your projects and clips, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms, does not pay, or puts other people or the service at risk. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to download your content.
Disclaimers
Blur AI is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that the service will be error-free, that AI output will be accurate or suitable for your purpose, or that your clips will reach any number of views. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have as a consumer that the law says cannot be removed.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or damage to reputation. Our total liability to you for any claim about Blur AI is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Claims about your content
If someone makes a claim against us because of content you edited or published with Blur AI, or because you broke these Terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by [the laws of the country / state where Blur AI is registered]. Before starting any formal dispute, please email blur.ai.video@gmail.com so we can try to sort it out within 30 days. If you are a consumer, you can also use the courts and protections of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Blur AI changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it applies. If you keep using Blur AI after that, the new Terms apply; if you do not agree, you can cancel and delete your account.
